Gordon Hewitt is the chairman of SIXCAP's Global Advisory Board and a professor of business administration at the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan.
He also holds honorary professorships at the universities of Glasgow, Manchester and Duke Corporate Education. His interests cover the fields of global and corporate competitiveness, corporate governance, strategy and innovation, and the value added of executive leadership.
Gordon has over 25 years of experience in advising CEOs and executive leaders of Global Fortune 500 companies, including IBM, Pfizer, Sony, Zurich Financial, Ericsson, Time Warner, National Australia Bank, and Verizon.
Born and educated in Glasgow, Gordon now works extensively throughout the USA, Asia and Europe. He was awarded the title of CBE (Commander of the British Empire) in the Queen’s 2007 Honours List. He is also an elected fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, Scotland’s National Academy of Science and Letters.
