JAKARTA, 24 May 2023 – Human development and a strong mastery of science and technology are the foundation for Indonesia’s progress in various sectors. The two are stated as a part of the First Pillar of the Indonesia 2045 Vision. Establishing a skilled, innovative, and adaptive workforce is essential to building the country’s competitiveness in this global era.

In partnership with Orbit Future Academy, the Indonesia Economic Forum has successfully brought together leaders and representatives from various Indonesian ministries such as the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Female Empowerment and Child Protection, Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, National Institute of Public Administration Indonesia, as well as representatives from USAID Indonesia Partnerships for Productivity (PADU).

They gathered together to identify the challenges and opportunities in developing a skilled workforce as well as formulate strategic recommendations to increase the effectiveness of training and skills development programs.

The roundtable was held from 9 AM to 11 AM at the Habibie & Ainun Library, Kuningan.
